Job Description

We are assisting a client with hiring a Senior Executive Leader in Denver, CO (General Manager level), to provide full operational and strategic oversight for a multi-department media operation, with accountability for audience growth, content performance, and revenue expansion. This role carries enterprise-wide responsibility for leadership, financial performance, people management, and external relationships. The ideal candidate is a decisive, performance-driven executive who leads with confidence, integrity, and collaborative discipline.

This position exercises broad authority over personnel decisions, operational direction, and strategic execution, routinely making independent judgments that materially impact organizational results.

The salary range is $180,000 - $200,000 and bilingual fluency in Spanish/Enlgish is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Operational & Leadership Oversight

  • Lead and guide all daily business operations, setting clear expectations and modeling accountability at every level.
  • Drive performance across departments through ongoing evaluation, coaching, and alignment to defined objectives.
  • Build a culture of excellence that promotes engagement, productivity, and constructive collaboration.
  • Ensure organizational practices, policies, and governance structures align with overarching corporate standards.

Financial & Business Performance

  • Assume full accountability for financial outcomes, including revenue growth, expense management, and overall profitability.
  • Develop, manage, and evaluate operating budgets in support of strategic goals.
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen cash flow and market position through sound operational decisions.

Brand, Marketing & Market Presence

  • Provide executive direction for brand positioning, marketing initiatives, and promotional strategy.
  • Partner closely with marketing and promotions teams to strengthen audience engagement and brand visibility.
  • Leverage market insights to support competitive positioning and long-term growth.

Stakeholder & Community Engagement

  • Cultivate strong relationships with internal leadership partners across regions and operational hubs.
  • Represent the organization externally, fostering meaningful partnerships within the community.
  • Actively engage with Latino community leaders and organizations to support audience connection and market relevance.

Experience & Qualifications

Required

  • Hands-on experience with CRM platforms (required).
  • Progressive leadership background within a broadcasting or media organization.
  • Strong command of sales operations and a comprehensive understanding of advertising, media, promotions, editorial functions, and financial management.
  • Demonstrated ability to earn credibility and respect across all levels of an organization and within the broader community.

Preferred

  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.

Travel Expectations

  • Regular travel within the region and periodic travel outside of the local market is required
